James "Jimmy" Walter Giles, III, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 16, 2006, at Baylor Medical Center Downtown in Dallas. Jimmy was born May 6, 1976 in Fort Hood, Texas the son of James Walter, II and Robin Schlichting Giles. In 1994 he graduated from Abbott High School and attended college at Sam Houston State University. For four years, he served with much pride and honor as a Texas State Trooper. On May 14, 1999 Jimmy married LeAnn Spooner in Waco. A fan of the Texas Longhorns, Jimmy loved going fishing with his grandpa. Jimmy?s greatest joy in life was playing with his son and going to the movies with him. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Survivors include his wife, LeAnn Giles of Hillsboro; parents, Jim and Robin Giles of College Station; son, Travis Giles of Hillsboro; brother, Jason Giles and wife, Ashley, of College Station; grandparents, Wallace & Fran Sadler of Brandon and Wayne and Marlys Schlichting of North Dakota; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
