James Mcgee

James P. McGee, 86, of Pasadena passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017, in Austin after a long battle with Lymphoma. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Gene Edens officiating. Burial will follow the service at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Born July 4, 1930 in Hillsboro, Texas, he was the son of Ervin and Gladys (Morton) McGee. He was married to Elizabeth McGee. James was a founding member of the Watters Road Church of Christ.

Preceding him in his death were his parents and his wife.

Survivors included his son, James Glenn McGee and wife Nancy; sisters, Evelyn Binner and DeeDee Benedum; grandchildren, Ryan James McGee and Lauren Ko and Marianne Elizabeth Dice and husband, Geoff Dice; and great-grandsons, Jaydon Simcik and Charlie Dice.
