James Thomas Mulhollan Jr. passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024.
Born in Dallas, Texas, to James T. Mulhollan Sr. and Evelyn Mulhollan, Jim led a life marked by hard work, dedication, and an enduring love for family and friends. Jimmy grew up in Oak Cliff and graduated from Sunset High School. He went on to attend Texas Christian University (TCU) and Stephen F Austin University where he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He served as a medic in the Medical Air Force Reserves. His career as a builder allowed him to leave a lasting legacy through the homes he constructed in Possum Kingdom and Fort Worth, Texas.
He was married to Judy Mulhollan, and together they shared a deep passion for TCU sports, particularly football, which they enjoyed with their close-knit group of friends. The couple made their home in Whitney, Texas, for the past 20 years, where Jimmy found joy in playing golf and cherished the friendships they built within their community.
Jimmy will be remembered for his sometimes-irreverent sense of humor that brought laughter to those around him and his unwavering love for animals, especially his dogs.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Judy, his sister Marilyn, his two nieces Alexis and Whitney, and his beloved dogs, McKenna and Skeezix, and five cats. He is preceded in death by his parents, James T. Mulhollan Sr. and Evelyn Mulhollan.
Jimmy’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his warm personality, his dedication to his craft, the love he shared with his family and friends, and his devotion to his furry companions.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 AM on September 10, 2024, at the White Bluff Chapel in Whitney
