James Dale Sharpe, Sr.

James Dale Sharpe, Sr. age 68 of Clifton, Texas passed away, Friday, March 27, 2020 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

James was born June 11, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to James Carson and Marion (Conklin) Sharpe. He grew up in Wisconsin and later moved to the Dallas-Ft Worth area. James married his high school sweetheart, Brenda Rhodes on April 7, 1972. He worked as a mechanic and loved tinkering with cars. Outside of being a mechanic he enjoyed traveling backroads, the outdoors, camping, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Michael Sharpe.

James was survived by his wife, Brenda Sharpe; children, Peggy Sharpe and husband, Kelly Couch, James Sharpe, Jr. and fiancé, Amy Heiland, Jammie Maitland and husband, Brian, and Jennifer Sharpe and husband, Joe Davis; brother, David Sharpe; sisters, Christine Sharpe, Susan Vardiman, Debra Swierk, and Diane Baugh; 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
