James Ronald Williamson

James Ronald Williamson, 88, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ February 15, 2022, at his home in Clifton, Texas.

James was born on November 17, 1933, in Zanesville, Ohio to John and Marjorie Williamson. He served in the United States Air Force from 1950-1953 and is survived by his wife, Clovis Ann Williamson, 11 children, 28 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren and preceded by one son.

Pallbearers include 12 of his grandsons:  Marcus Baker, Brian Baker, Chris Cates, James Williamson, Charlie Pribilski, Timothy Williamson, Nelson Williamson, Nick Williamson, Jared Williamson, Zack Williamson, Maxwell Micchelli, and Nick Micchelli,

He leaves a legacy as Dad, Granddad, and Daddy-Jim, dedicated to his family and a servant of the Lord, never ashamed to share the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

His parting scripture to share with all who read this is 2 Timothy 2:8-12, “Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher, which is why I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me.

We love you Dad and looking forward to seeing you again!
