Jan Allison

Jan Allison, 61, of Whitney passed away on June 9, 2006. Jan was born on January 27, 1945 in Clifton to Arthur James and Anna Rose Mae Miller Gant. She grew up in the Whitney area. On Dec. 15, 1960 she married Charley Allison. They lived in the Joshua area from 1962 until moving back to Whitney in 1987. She was a Baptist. Preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors include her husband, Charley of Whitney; children, Kellie Allison and husband, Pete Cappel of Godley, Kristie Allison of Whitney; brother, Ronald Gant of Whitney; sister, Nancy York and husband, George of Iredell; grandchildren, Cash Cappel, Conor Cappel, Corrie Allison and several nieces and nephews.
