Jane Eastland

Jane Eastland, 75, of Hillsboro passed away April 2, 2005. She was born on October 13, 1929 to James K. and Mary Belle Dennis. She attended Hillsboro schools and graduated from Hillsboro High in 1947. Upon graduation she attended Baylor University. After receiving her degree in Journalism/English in 1950, she began teaching in Fort Worth. She also taught in Covington and Hillsboro. On February 16, 1952, she married Harold Eastland ?Hubbo? who preceded her in death in 1996. Jane will be remembered by her family as a loving and faithful wife, mother and grandmother. She always gave generously of herself to all those who knew her. She was a longstanding member of First United Methodist Church, and was passionate about her relationship with God. Those who will truly miss her are her three sons, Dennis, Bobby, Marvin and their wives, as well as her eight grandchildren; all of whom loved her dearly. ?For I am now ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand.
