Jane Ferguson

Jane Ferguson, 75, of Hillsboro passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2019, at the Brandon Cemetery with William Ferguson officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Born August 31, 1943, in Waxahachie, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Gladys (Kuykendall) Ferguson. Jane grew up in Brandon and was a graduate of Bynum High School. She continued her education at Hill Jr. College and received her nurses training degree. For 12 years, Jane was employed as an LVN at Grant and Buie Hospital in Hillsboro. She was a member of Line Street United Methodist Church in Hillsboro.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Mary Langford; and two brothers, Ray Ferguson and Roy Ferguson.

Survivors include her brother, Hugh Ferguson and wife, Leah, of Hillsboro; sister, Nancy Coffey of Ennis; and several nieces and nephews.
