Jane Wright

Jane Wright, 90, of Tool passed away on August 12, 2011 in Kaufman.

Services will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Mr. Wayne England officiating. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday morning from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Jane was born on April 25, 1921 in Aquilla, the daughter of the late Andrew and Allie (Lee) Robinson. On October 19, 1937 she married Emmett Wright and he preceded her in death on April 21, 1998. During their time together they lived in Hillsboro, Dallas, Houston, DeSoto and Jane had lived in Tool since 1973.

Jane had worked as a cook in the school systems and at local restaurants. She liked to garden especially growing flowers, fishing, crocheting and sewing. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Seven Points.

Also preceding her in death were her 4 brothers, 3 sisters, daughter and granddaughter.

Survivors include her children, Beverly Wells of Fort Worth, Ben Wright and wife, Dorothy of Kemp, Billie Wright and wife, Norma of Maricopa, AZ., Milton Wright and wife, Peggy of Lancaster; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
