Janet Evelyn (Davis) Buckelew

Janet Evelyn (Davis) Buckelew, age 94 of Whitney passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at her home in Whitney. Graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, December 16, 2022, at Whitney Memorial Park, Whitney, Texas.She was born and raised in Tarrant County and attended Arlington High School. Janet moved to Whitney in 1971 and remained there until her death.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Ernest J. Buckelew.

Janet is survived by her sons, Richard E. Buckelew and David W. Buckelew; daughters, Jerry Buckelew, Carol Thetford and Nancy K. Sowell; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
