Janet Lillie (Horn) Williams

Janet L. (Horn) Williams, loving wife, mother, Mimi, daughter, sister and friend, stepped into the presence of her Heavenly Father on June 23, 2024. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, June 28, 2024, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, June 29, 2024, at First Baptist Church, Hillsboro.

Janet was born May 16, 1954, in Corsicana, Texas, to Travis and Mildred Horn. She grew up in Kerens, Texas and moved to Hillsboro in 1976 when she married the love of her life. Janet was a 1972 graduate of Kerens High School and attended Navarro College. The highlight of her career was teaching Pre-K at the First Baptist Christian School.

She loved her family and her God and spent her whole life serving them all. Her house became the family gathering place. Janet loved to try out new recipes, do all kinds of crafts, follow the Texas Tenors and read; but mostly loved being with family.

Janet is preceded in death by her daddy, Travis; maternal and paternal grandparents and numerous other relatives. She is survived by her loving husband of forty-seven and a half years, Lenn Williams; her sons, Douglas and Tim (Nancy); her granddaughters, Gracie, Raylee and Holly; her great-grandson, A.J.; her mother, Mildred Horn; her sister, Jean Murray (Bruce); her brothers, Rusty, Garland and Clint Horn; sisters-in-law, Pat Allen and Jeanie Dykes (Murph); and numerous nieces and nephews.
