Jean Marie Landesco, born on April 2, 1980, in Falls Church, Virginia died in a car accident on March 15, 2014, at age 33. The family will be having an informal memorial service at 1 P.M., Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church of West. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Kerzee and Rev. Jimmy Sansom.
Jean was a gentle soul, much loved by her many friends in Texas, Virginia, and around the world, since as a child she lived in Panama, the Philippines and in Germany with her parents and brother. She also loved her participation as a referee with the Dallas Derby Devils roller derby club. Jean worked at the West Long Term Recovery Center for McLennan Community College of Waco, TX, as a Volunteer Coordinator, and had received her Associate of Arts there in Paralegal Studies. All her friends and relatives will miss her terribly.
She is survived by her mother Kim and her father Alex of Whitney; her brother Mark of Oklahoma City, OK; and her grandmother, Jean Brown of Modesto, CA. Jean is also survived by her much loved canine companion, Mayhem.
