Jeanne Ward

Jeanne C. Ward, 76 of Laguna Park went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2007. She was the daughter of Charles and Lucille Meyers Cubbage. She grew up in Illinois and moved to Texas in 1957. On December 21, 1956, she married Robert Ward and he preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 2003. She worked for Texas Instruments for 10 years and retired from the Brazos River Authority after 13 years in 1999. She was a member of Whitney Church of Christ, Phi Beta Kappa and was a former Democratic Precinct Chairman while in Dallas County. Jeanne enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, crocheting and sequining. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and sister, Rosie Cochran. Survivors include her children, Steve Ford and wife, Pam of Tulsa, OK, Peggy Jones and husband, Stan of Mesquite, TX, Wayne Ford and wife, Sandra of Great Fall, MT, Cynthia Boston and husband, Michael of Garland, TX; grandchildren, Stephanie Kay, Angel Willis and husband, David, Kristina Lawson and husband, Matt, Bobby Ford and wife, Sonya, Misty Chandler, Stacie Hurst and husband, Ben, Samuell Jones, Sara Jones, Joshua Ford and wife, Lauren, Mark Ford and wife, Kryssy, Emily Ford, Cherisse Fisher, Peggy Jeanne Richard and husband, John, Shannon Boston, Amy Houghtaling and Mike Lucas; great grandchildren, Austin, Branson, Carson, Bryce, Kinsley, Dallas, Paige, Kaylee, Haylee, Trinity, Aria Belle, Aiden and Alexis.
