Jeannette Boyd

Jeannette Vandiver Boyd, 87, of Dallas passed away Thursday afternoon, December 28, 2017, in a Dallas hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Born November 2, 1930 in Dallas, she was the daughter of Audie Millard and Lillie Mae (Ellis) Vandiver. She lived in Dallas all of her life. On October 4, 1945, Jeannette was united in marriage to L. C. Boyd. After 70 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on January 1, 2016. She worked as an office clerk. Jeannette loved to cook and shop in antique stores.

Also preceding her in death were her parents and sister, Pauline.

Survivors include her three daughters, Judy Stewart, Joan Blasingame and husband, Don, and Jean Trego, all of Fort Worth; and brother, T. L. Hoover of Dallas.
