Jeannine was born April 19, 1932 in Huron Community, Texas to Arthur and Ruth Ekrut Cupp. She attended the first grade in the Huron school and then moved to Whitney to complete school and graduate. On December 16, 1951 she married Harold L. Cobb, also of Hill County. Harold was presently serving in the U. S. Army at the time and later retired in 1966. During Harold's military career they traveled and lived throughout the United States and Europe. On his retirement in 1966, they moved back home to Whitney and have resided there since. Jeannine attended beautician school in Waco in 1966 and was a beautician in the Whitney area until 1980. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. She was a very devoted family person, an avid gardener and had a great love for the outdoors. She loved caring for a variety of animals and her favorite place was their family farm in the Huron area. Preceding her in death were her parents, and one sister, Marita Kay Greenwade. Survivors include her husband, Harold Cobb of Whitney; two sons, Jim Cobb and wife, Sue, of Aquilla and Mike Cobb and wife, Melissa, of Waxahachie; five grandchildren, Marcie Allen and husband, Russell, of Kosse, Jamie Cobb of Aquilla, Samantha Cobb of Aquilla, Blake Cobb of Waxahachie, and Katharine Cobb of Waxahachie; and one great-grandchild, Ty Allen of Kosse.
