Jerry Lee Miller Sr. was born October 5, 1938 in Ligonier, Indiana, the fourth of six children to Doris Crusen Miller and Ura Clinton Miller. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 30, 2024 at Bethlehem cemetery in Whitney, Texas.
For more than fifty years, Jerry was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He was 54 years clean and sober at the time of his passing. He was known to say " he had been given through A.A the keys to hell, to let him out." He wanted to see as many that would accept the help of A.A., could also find it.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and beloved second mother, Virginia Tope Miller; brothers, Harold Miller, Gerald Miller and wife, Sue Ann, Monte Tope and wife Janice; three sisters, Mary Burns, Dorthey Steir, and Carol Miller; daughter, Susana Arnold; granddaughter, Kaylee Chastain; and an infant great-grandson, Isaac Cowan.
