Jimmie Ruth Loewe, 86, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday morning, December 26, 2017, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Darrel Beggs of Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro officiating. Burial will follow at Covington Cemetery.

Born September 23, 1931 in Cleburne, she was the daughter of Jimmy and Annie Lee (Hardin) Morris. She lived in Hill County her whole life. On October 3, 1949, Jimmie Ruth was united in marriage to Henry Loewe. Following their marriage, they lived on a farm just outside of Hillsboro until moving to Hillsboro in 1954. The couple were long-time members of Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro.

Jimmie Ruth had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed gardening and watching birds feed at her feeders, especially hummingbirds. She and Henry loved traveling in their RV and attending bluegrass music festivals.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Henry on November 22, 2003; son, Gary Loewe on May 10, 2004; brother, Donnie Morris; and son-in-law, Neil Garner.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Garner of Austin; two brothers, Tommy Morris and wife, Annette, of Blum and Bobby Morris and wife, Virginia, of Whitney; sister, Sue Anai of Boerne; and three grandchildren, Patrick Loewe, Joel Garner, and Hana Garner, all of Austin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, P. O. Box 263, Hillsboro, TX 76645.
