Jimmie David Magers

Jimmie David Magers, age 80 of Whitney passed away peacefully Friday, February 2, 2024. A  graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, February 5, 2024, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Jimmie was born on February 2, 1944 to Jimmie Lee and Lou Bell (Short) Magers. He was a loving husband, father, son, and grandpa. Jimmie was a kind, funny, smart, hard worker, and a great provider.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Lou Bell Magers and his daughter, Lyna Reynolds.

Jimmie is survived by his wife of 51 years, Roberta Lynn Magers; his daughter, Alana Jo Dean; his sons, Jimmie Dean Magers and Johnny Ray Magers; granddaughters, Cheyenne America Howard, Hailey Mae Howard, and Alexis Irene Doyle; and a plu of other great grandchildren and family.
