Jo Crowell

Jo Crowell, 82, of Eunice, NM passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 in Lubbock, TX. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro with Pastor Phil Hunt of Grace City Church in Hillsboro officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2012, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Jo was born April 18, 1930 in Midlothian to Charlie E. and Lorene (Allen) Sullivan. On May 4, 1951 she married Royce Crowell, Sr. and he preceded her in death on April 16, 2008. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Eunice, NM. A homemaker, Jo was also a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Also preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Richard “Dick” Sullivan and H. D. Sullivan.

Survivors include her three children, Royce Crowell, Jr. and wife, Vickie, of Hillsboro, Pam Crowell Fisher and husband, Bob, of Eunice, NM, and Dean Crowell and wife, Karen, of Lubbock; sister, Gene Sullivan McKnight of Belton; five grandchildren, Brian Crowell, Paige Crowell, Bert Fisher, Charlie Fisher, and Cody Fisher; and four great-grandchildren, Bryce Crowell, Madalyn Crowell, Brilei Fisher, and Mattie Fisher.
