Jo Wilson,80, of Whitney, passed away on September 10, 2015, in Dallas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 14, 2015, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, with Mr. Bruce Martin, officiating. Burial will follow at Whitney Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM, on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at the funeral home.

Jo was born on January 2, 1935, in Huron in Hill County, to William Edward and Wilma Ozella (Newsom) Pelham. She attended school in Covington. She enjoyed a 41 year career with Cato Drug, later Eubank Drug, at the corner of Washington and Colorado streets in Whitney. On October 9, 1968, she married Harrell Wilson in Whitney.

She enjoyed making quilts and sharing them with others. Jo was a faithful member of the Whitney Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, Lydia Musgrave, three brothers, and six sisters.

Survivors include her loving husband of almost 47 years, Harrell Wilson of Whitney; children, Michael Raulston and wife, Lisa of Cleburne and Patricia Wilson and special friend, Gary Martin of Whitney, son-in-law, Val Musgrave of Cedar Park; grandson, Adam Raulston; sisters, Laverne McKeehan of Hillsboro and Lily Beck of Fort Worth.

Memorials may be made to Whitney Church of Christ, P.O. Box 621, Whitney, TX 76692 or Foster’s Home for Children, 1779 N. Graham St., Stephenville, TX 76401.
