Joe Dutton

Joe Ann Dutton passed away on September 20, 2007 at her residence in Whitney. She was born March 4, 1937 in Vernon to Carl and Margie Worley Neilsen. She moved to Whitney at age 10 and graduated from Whitney High School in 1955. Shortly after graduating she married Bill Dutton. She lived many years in Electra before returning to Whitney in 1976. She worked numerous years for Brown & Root Power Plant in Glen Rose and worked in Whitney as a cook for K & L and at Lake Whitney Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Lee Neilsen, Doc Neilsen; grandson, Brandon Dutton and great granddaughter, Jasmine Waller. Survivors: children, Tammy Howlett and husband, Casey of Fort Worth, Dale Dutton and wife, Valora of Electra, Sandra Salazar and husband, Alex of Fort Worth, Doug Dutton and wife, Misty of Watauga, Shirley Hankins and husband, Cliff of Cleburne, Becky Pathak of Whitney, Ann George of Hurst; brother, Sonny Neilsen and wife Millie of Michigan; sister, Sherry Auten and husband, Rex of Whitney; 16 grandchildren, Heather, Reene, Jesse, Tamra, Cody, Justin, Keith, Shanna, Desiree, Tiffany, Tammy, Brandon, Amanda, Samantha, Sussi, Donovan and 19 great grandchildren, Bryce, Brendon, Breanna, Anthony, Christian, Jamsine, Emma, Kollin, Addison, Presley, Savannaha, Shawn, Jason, Jordon, Preston, Treasure, Eternity, Kaylee and Cain.
