Joe Haney, 88, of Richland Hills, Texas died Thursday, November 24, 2005, at North Hills Hospital. Joe was born June 23, 1917 in Oklahoma the son of William Randolph and Winnie Hill Haney. He was raised in Bynum and graduated as valedictorian of Bynum High School. On November 14, 1946 he married Juanita Opal Allen in Fort Worth. Since 1950 he has lived in Richland Hills. During WWII he served in the U. S. Army. He was a charter member of Richland Hills Church of Christ in Richland Hills, a member of Woodman of The World, and a member of Community Care Enrichment Center at Richland Hills. Preceding him in death were his parents, five brothers, and one sister. Survivors include his wife, J. Opal Haney of Richland Hills; two children, Nancy Taylor and husband, Frank, of Sherman and Jerry Haney and wife, Donna, of Richland Hills; step-son, Bob Stembridge and wife, Sharon, of Graham; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
