Joe Moore

Joe was born on October 20, 1927 in Whitney; the son of the late Charles Albert and Mattie Elizabeth Thomas Moore. He served his country in the United States Army from March 16, 1946 to January 8, 1947. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed playing the guitar, dancing and singing to the children. Joe was of the Pentecostal faith. He was also preceded in death by his son, Curtis Joe Moore, two brothers, Billy Moore, Odell Moore, sister, Ioa Moore and granddaughter, Deanna K. Moore. Survivors include his children, Donald Moore, Rex Moore, Danny Moore, Brenda Moore, Glenda Moore; step-daughters, Judy Bell, Nancy Swinscoe; brothers, Noble Moore, Frank D. Moore; sisters, Claudia Ballew, Delores Boyd; 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
