Joe Weldon Ridlehuber, dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away on July 6, 2022, at the age of 83 in Euless, Texas, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s. Visitation will be at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Texas, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Marshall and Marshall.
Joe was born on April 6, 1939, in Woodbury, Texas to Henry Counts and Dellia Ridlehuber. He graduated from Itasca High School in 1957 and moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area where he met Mary Ann Birdwell. They married on October 14, 1967.
Joe was a jack of all trades and put those skills to good use in his forty five years of work for Texas Instruments. He loved hunting, fishing, baseball, and the Dallas Cowboys. But most of all, he loved his girls. In his later years, Joe loved nothing more than when all of his girls were back home. He would often tell them they were his whole life.
Joe was a 32nd Degree Mason and a proud member of the Masonic Lodge of Irving, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Mary Ann Ridlehuber; his daughters, Courtney Ridlehuber of Euless, Texas, and Lindsay Smith and her husband Thomas Smith of Chesapeake, Virginia; granddaughters Charlotte and Vivian; grand dogs Bella, Lucy, Kelly, and Ava; and countless treasured nieces and nephews as well as one surviving sister, Valda Bradley of Lubbock, Texas.
