In 1997, he met and fell in love with his soul mate, Pam Huish. John and Pam met in her beauty shop and things just seemed to click. After a short romance, Pam and John married on March 21, 1998, and have been on a sixteen year honeymoon.

A musician, John had a deep love for music and played in many bands including his own, the “Last Chance Band”.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Pam, of Whitney, and her son, Jason Huish and wife, Heather of Aquilla; his daughter, Jennifer White and husband, Ronnie of Edwardsburg, Michigan; brother Ronnie Brewer and wife, Brenda of Covington; sister Pat Thomas of Whitney; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews as well as a huge extended family of everyone that he met.
