John Young

John Wesley Young, 50 of Whitney passed away at his residence on January 13, 2008. He was born on August 26, 1957 in Mahoning, Pennsylvania to Geoffrey Allen and Albina Feudale Young. John went to heart of Texas Regional Police Academy and graduated in 1983. He also was a graduate of TSTI in August 20, 1986 with a degree in electric power distribution lineman. He worked several years for Houston Lighting and Power Company. In 2000 he graduated from York Town Business Institute in York, Penn. with an associate degree in culinary arts. He had worked as a chef in Pennsylvania and the central Texas area. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie. Survivors include his father, Geoffrey Young of Fort Worth; children, Gino Young and wife, Nikki, Chance Young and wife, Kristia, Allen Young all of Whitney; brother, Andy Young of Hillsboro and grandchildren, Nevara, Raurie and Corbin Young.
