Biography

Johnnie Raymond Townzen, 76, of Woodway passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Regent Care Center of Woodway. His family will host a memorial service at a later date.

Johnnie was born July 8, 1941 in Joshua to Raymond and Mary Ann (Godwin) Townzen. He joined the United States Army National Guard. He was employed in furniture manufacturing.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his brother, James Townzen of Waco; sister, Sharon Wilsford of Abbott; two nieces, Donna Faillace of Galveston and JoAnn Whitlock of Glen Rose; and nephew, James Townzen, Jr. of Corpus Christi.
