Johnny Crawford was born on November 9, 1930 in Belton, Texas to John and Mirzuery Crawford. He married Laura Mae McIntyre on November 3, 1989. He lived most of his life in Whitney. He worked for Rohm Hass Chemical Plant as a pipe fitter for 16 years and then owned and operated Crawford Exterminatiion Company. He served in the Korean War as a 3rd class Teleman with the US Navy. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Whitney, Whitney Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Karen Shrine Temple and VFW Post 8571. He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and five sisters. Survivors include his children, Cynthia Trammell and husband, Mike of West, Keith Crawford and wife, Bobbie of Whitney, Larry Crawford and wife, Teresa of Whitney; brother, William M. "Bill" Crawford of Laguna Park; sister, Ehtel Reagor of Hillsboro, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchldren.
