Johnny Greer

Johnny was the son of John William and Florence Harris Greer, Sr. He graduated from Bynum High School. On July 14, 1956 he married Margaret Joan Davidson and they lived in Dallas until 1971. They later moved to De Soto and then to Irene in 2004. Johnny worked for National Cash Register for 30 years, and later worked for Memorex before opening his own business for a few years. He enjoyed hunting deer and dove, and he had a love for all animals. Johnny was a member of the Elks Club in De Soto and the Hill County Historical Commission. He was of the Methodist faith. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include wife - Joan pron. Jo Ann Greer of Irene, 4 children - Johnny Loyd Greer of Waco, Angela Marie Lane and husband Kevin of Dallas, Teresa Gail Richardson and husband Dennis of Grapevine, Richard Dale Greer and wife Keri of Irene, brother: Richard Harris Greer of Hawkins.
