Johnny Horn, Jr

Johnny Ray Horn, Jr., 56, of Clifton, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at a Waco Hospital. A visitation and prayer service will be held from 5-7 PM on Monday, April 21, 2014, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney with David Snipes officiating.

Johnny was born on December 16, 1957, in Dallas, to Johnny Ray, Sr. and Joann (Wills) Horn. He attended school at Dallas while growing up there, but graduated from Hillsboro High School. A plumber by trade, he worked for a number of years in Plano before working in Las Vegas for several years. Upon his return to Texas, he settled in the Lake Whitney area where he enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, fishing and anything outdoors.

He is survived by his parents, John and Joann Horn of Clifton; children, Heather Lynette Horn and Larry Wilson of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Debbie Bembenek and husband, Steve, of Tyler; grandson, Clayton Mahoney and granddaughter, Britney Campa, both of Columbus, Ohio; two step-grandchildren, Kaylee Wilson and Linken Wilson, also of Columbus; nephew, Justin Turner, wife, Carrie and son, Sawyer of Dallas.

Memorials may be made to Lebanon United Methodist Church, Aquilla, TX.
