Johnny Ward

Johnny was born on February 8, 1952 in Whitney. He was the son of A. C. and Wanda Hartis Ward. Johnny lived in Whitney all of his life and attended Whitney High School. He owned and operated Pub 22 in Whitney for the past 12 years. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. For many years he enjoyed playing softball before taking up golf. He was a member of King Memorial United Methodist Church in Whitney. Johnny was devoted to his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, A. C. Ward and brother, Eddie Ward. Survivors include his wife, Becky of Whitney; mother, Wanda Ward of Aquilla; children, Shawn Ward and wife Pam and Kim Montgomery and husband Craig all of Whitney; 5 grandchildren, Jacob Deal, Micha Ward, Reagan Montgomery, Avril Ward and Jaxon Montgomery .
