Joseph Anthony

Joseph Carl Anthony, 62, of Waco died Thursday, April 26, 2006, at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco. Mr. Anthony was born November 30, 1943 in Houston, Texas, the son of Edward and Margaret Anthony. He married Marian Maedell Hornsby April 18, 1962 and they started their family while living in the Dallas area for many years. They had lived in the Hillsboro, Whitney area for the last 24 years before moving to Waco three weeks ago. He was in the building trade until 1979 when he started Anthony Wood Products in Quinlan, Texas and moved the business to Hillsboro in 1982 and continued to work in the business until he had to retire in 1991 because of health problems. He was an avid fisherman most of his life and he loved everything he did with a passion. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Anthony, his mother and step-father, Margaret and C. G. Brown; a daughter, Lisa Ranee Anthony; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Ranee Anthony. He is survived by his wife, Marian Anthony; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Christopher Moreno of Waco; two sons, Kevin Anthony of Buffalo, MO Stephen Anthony; his granddaughter, Jordan Ranee Moreno of Waco; grandsons Christopher Anthony of Pennsylvania and Sean and Brandon Anthony of Corpus Christi; his sister, Sue Ann Goin of Terrell; his step-mother, Eunice Anthony of Oceanside, CA; a nephew, Wayne Walker of Ft. Myers, FL; and a niece and her husband, Rhonda and Rick Wyatt of Ft. Myers, FL. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association P. O.
