Josephine Hohenberger

Josephine E. Hohenberger, 89, of Corsicana died Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana. Josephine was born February 8, 1918 in Frost, Texas the daughter of James F. and Bernice Jarrett Denn. She married Willard D. Hohenberger and he preceded her in death on May 22, 1979. Owner of J&H Café, Josephine was a great people person who was concerned about everyone’s well being. She loved plants and working in her flower beds. She was a member of Frost Baptist Church, Odd Fellow, and Rebecca Lodge. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, J. B. Denn. Survivors include her children, Jimmy Hohenberger and wife, Angie, of Frost and Nedra Cutler and husband, Mark, of Fort Worth; brother, Shirley Denn of Wimberly; and a grandson, Benjy Hohenberger of Frost. The family would like to extend gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Heritage Oaks Retirement Assisted Living, Dr. Hibbs, Dr. Rigsby, and the staff of Navarro Regional Hospital for their wonderful care to our Josey.
