Joshua Lewis

Joshua Paul Lewis, 30, of Whitney died Friday, February 22, 2008, near Itasca. Joshua was born February 21, 1978 in Baytown, Texas the son of Larry and Kathy Little Lewis. On March 14, 1998 he married Stephanie Gill in Clifton. A very good father to his children and very loving husband, Joshua was very family oriented and a dear friend to everyone. He was very trustworthy. He loved to play his X-Box. He was a truck driver for Universal Forrest and of the Pentecostal faith. Preceding him in death were his father, Larry Gene Lewis; and sister-in-law, Tiffany Gill. Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Lewis of Whitney; mother, Kathy Lewis of Gatesville; grandmother, Opal Ophelia Little Rosenquist of Walnut Springs; two daughters, Timberley Lynn Lewis and Elayna Lee Lewis both of Whitney; two brothers, Larry DeRay Lewis of Baytown and Karl Damon Geaslin and wife, Janet, of San Antonio; sister, Tiersa Gene Lewis of Richardson; sister-in-law, Jennifer Williams of Center; nine nieces and nepehws, Alexandria Mae Williams; Taylor Dawn Couch; Cierra Dawn Prosser; Jadyn Nychole Prosser; Jonah David Merritt, Jr.; Tiersa Micah Kali Merritt; Benjiman Isaac Brock Merritt; Breanna Lewis; and Larry Lewis. Memorials may be made to the First Security State Bank of Whitney for funeral expenses or Stephanie Lewis, 154 Blue Grass, Whitney, TX 76692 to help care for children.
