Joyce Frances (Wallace) Anderson

Joyce F Anderson (59) of West died Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at St Anthony's care center in Waco, Texas. Graveside Services will take place at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Beeman Cemetery, 700 FM 2555, Corsicana, Texas, 75110, with Richard Wiese officiating.

Joyce was born on July 9, 1963, in Waco, Texas, to Helen McCoy and Thomas Wallas. In her lifetime she worked for Bennie Nors, Ross Truck Stop and Village Bakery. Joyce lived at her home in West for thirty years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed fishing, back roading and playing pool. Joyce danced like no one was watching and loved to make those around her smile. She had a kind heart and always sought to bring those around her joy.

She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Wallas; twin infant siblings; her brother-in-law, Lloyd Murphy; her grandparents, Lilia and William Wiese; her uncles, Lenard Wiese Sr., Alvin Wiese, Jimmy Wiese, and William Wiese; and her aunt Margie Krugar.

She is survived by her significant other, Travis Bartley; her mother, Helen McCoy; her ex-husband, David Anderson; her sons, Weldon Anderson and wife, April of Nebraska, Skeet Anderson and wife, Susan of Waco’ Calvin Bartley of West; and her daughter, Lily Miller and husband, Robert of Waco; her grandchildren, Dylan and Kaylyn Anderson, and Isabella Baker; her siblings, Jo Murphy, James Wallas and wife, Lindsey, Michelle Kruger and husband, Gary; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and extended family.
