Joyce (Johnson) Oliver

Joyce Johnson Oliver, 88, of Whitney, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024, in Tennessee. Graveside services will take place at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Springhill Cemetery, in Paris, Texas.

Joyce was born August 21, 1935, in Novice, Texas, to Lawrence T. and Ruth M. Johnson. She married Jr Oliver on September 16, 1956, in Dallas, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Jimmie Lee Johnson; two sisters, Lucille Martin, and Betty Watts; and great-granddaughter, Reagan Kaye. Survivors include children, Vicki Bordes and her husband, Nelson; Patti and husband Chris Patrick; Sheri and husband Bill Hanosh; and Clifton (Bubba) Oliver; the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Ashley and husband Shaun Miller, Jenna and husband, Tyler French, Emily and husband Derek Smith; her great-grandchildren, Addison Grace, Abigail Kaye, Katelynn Michelle, Stella Michelle, T.J., Harper Grace, and Everly Joyce; her brother David and wife, Jan Johnson; her sister, Virginia Littrell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
