Joyce Schneider

Joyce Lynn Schneider, 77, of De Soto died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Lancaster Medical Center in Lancaster. Joyce was born August 2, 1930 in Malone, Texas the daughter of Robert H. and Bertha Priebe Schneider. She attended school in Malone, graduated from Bynum High School, and received her Bachelors degree from Scott & White as a registered nurse. In 1952 she moved to Potsdam, New York and lived there for 25 years before returning to Dallas in 1976. At that time she went to work for the VA and then transferred to Big Spring in 1987. She was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in De Soto. Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Billy Schneider. Survivors include her children, Michael Greene of Duncanville and Ann Brunson and husband, Robert, of Potsdam, NY; brother, Robert Schneider and wife, Glenda, of Brandon; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
