Biography

Juan Pineda, 71, of Hillsboro died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at St. Catherines Center in Waco. A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Itasca Cemetery in Itasca with Rev. Andrew Bell officiating.

Juan was born June 24, 1943 in Waxahachie to Andrew and Julia (Lara) Pineda. He worked at both Town Hall and Cantebury Villa Nursing Homes in Hillsboro and was also at Hill College for several years. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Hillsboro.

Juan was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Benita Esparza. Survivors include his wife, Janie Pineda, of Hillsboro; niece, Olga Marshall and husband, Rick; great-nephew, Bryan Ward and wife, Tiffany; and cousin, Rosemary Ramirez.
