Juanita Boyse

Juanita Boyse, 86, of Abbott died Friday, April 29, 2005 at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Juanita was born January 21, 1919 in Hillsboro, Texas the daughter of Leonard and Lillie Simmons Morgan. She grew up in the Abbott area and lived there all of her life. On October 15, 1938 she married Jack Boyse and he preceded her in death in July 1978. For 30 years she was a clerk for the U.S.D.A. Juanita was a member of the Abbott United Methodist Church where she was treasurer for many years, Abbott Community Improvement Organization ACIO, sang in the Baylor Senior Choir for many years, and was very active in community affairs. Also preceding her in death were her parents; her son, Danny Boyse in October 1981; two sisters, Nancy Fowler in 1995 and Opal Plunkett in 2004; and her brother, V. O. Morgan in 1997. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Janice Boyse of Abbott; two grandsons, Dennis Boyse of West and Darren Boyse of Waco; a sister, Virgie Williford and her husband, Jess, of Wichita Falls; a sister-in-law, Florine Morgan of Moody; and several nieces and nephews.
