Juanita Jones

Juanita Jones, 89, of Whitney passed away on August 15, 2007 in Waxahachie. She was the daughter of Erasmus and Alice Ramsey Williams. She grew up in Dallas and graduated from Adamson High School in Dallas. She married J. B. Jones on Oct. 24, 1936 and he preceded her in death on June 19, 1991. She owned and operated many businesses including restaurants, laundries in Dallas and J. J. Cafe in Whitney for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Whitney. Preceding her in death were her parents, son, Ricky Dale Jones on April, 19, 1969; 5 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include her daughter, Donna McKinney and husband, Charles of Whitney; grandchildren, Vicki Ward and husband, Butch, Dawn Hammock and husband, Alan, Michael McKinney and wife Briana, Nita Acton and husband, Ted; great grandchildren, Ricky and Brandon Ward, Christopher Hammock and wife, Nicole, Andrew, Amber, Jacoby and Bailee McKinney, Jacob, Leah, Reubin and Becky Acton and great great granddaughter, Jaidyn Watson Memorials: Charity of Choice
