Juanita (Calk) Mccoy

Juanita McCoy, age 89 of Whitney passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Town Hall Estates in Hillsboro.

Juanita was born on March 3, 1934, in Corsicana, Texas to John and Mary (Cantu) McCoy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John McCoy & Mary McCoy from Grand Prairie, Texas; husband, Billy Ray Calk from Georgia; children, Oscar McCoy from Whitney, Texas, Eve Calk from Irving, Texas, Ruby Calk Pena from Grand Prairie, Texas; brother; Tommy Fred McCoy from Grand Prairie, Texas; sister, Nancy McCoy from Glenwood, Arkansas.

Juanita is survived by her children, Cheyenne Calk of Dallas, Texas, Marie Calk of Arlington, Texas; sisters, Virginia McCoy Davis of Georgia, Mary McCoy Castillo of Irving, Texas, Margaret McCoy of Burleson / Whitney, Texas, and Lupe McCoy of Alvarado, Texas; grandchildren, Tommy Fred Calk, Tony Calk, Michael Calk, Charles Fonseca, Crystal Fonseca, Jason  Gonzalez, Michael Maupin, Keith  Maupin, Johnny Pena, Candace Pena, Christina Pena Mercik; and 15 great grandchildren.
