Judith Bailey

Judith Dawn Bailey, 73, of Bryan passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. There are no services scheduled.

Judith was born September 25, 1940 in Austin to Gerald Steven, Sr. and Maribeth (Keough) Raines. For 40 years she was a radiology/ultrasound tech, retiring in 2004. She lived her life for her family, especially being involved in her grandchildren’s lives. Playing cards and traveling were a couple of her favorite pastimes. Judith was a lifetime Dallas Cowboy Fan. She was a Christian by faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include her children, Alicia Lynn Hoekstra of Dallas, Kevin M. Bailey of Corsicana, Colin R. Bailey and wife, June, of Hillsboro, and Kenneth K. Bailey and wife, Erin, of Bryan; brother, Gerald S. Raines, Jr. and wife, Karan, of Driftwood; sister, Barbara H. Braden and husband, Wesley, of Austin; sister-in-law, Ellen McRight of Lucas; 11 grandchildren, Jonathan Hoekstra, Chris Hoekstra and wife, Erin, Elizabeth, Emily, Daniel, Matthew, and William Bailey, Kirsten and Kaitlyn Bailey, and Xander Keough; and her pet companion, Chi Chi.
