Judy Kennedy

Judy Ann Kennedy, 67, of Hillsboro passed away Friday, June 30, 2017, at her residence. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Judy was born September 27, 1949 in Perryton to William Wilson and Hazel Valentine (McBryde) Carpenter. She grew up in Albuquerque, NM. From the time she was in high school until 1995, Judy was a country music singer. On April 17, 1972, she was united in marriage to Garner Kennedy. She enjoyed creating and painting yard decorations.

Preceding her in death were her parents; child, Shannon Kennedy; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Garner Kennedy of Hillsboro; son, Sean Kennedy of Grand Junction, CO; and a grandchild.
