Julia Pineda

Julia Pineda, 86, of Hillsboro, died Monday, September 12, 2005, at Canterbury Villa Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Julia was born July 30, 1919 in North Zulch, Texas the daughter of Christino and Emilia Rodriquez Lara. She attended school in Normangee, Texas. On June 23, 1934 she married Andrew Pineda in Waxahachie. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1966. They lived in Waxahachie, then moved to Itasca, where they lived for 13 years before moving to Hillsboro in 1963. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Hillsboro. Also preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters and one brother. She worked as a nurses aide. Survivors include her daughter, Benita Esparza of DeSoto; son, Johnny Pineda and wife, Janie, of Hillsboro; sister, Delores Ramirez of Hillsboro; granddaughter, Olga Marshall of Duncanville; great-grandson, Bryan Ward of Duncanville and dad, Kelly Ward, of Palmer; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
