Julia Taylor

Julia was the daughter of Emmett Dewitt and Myra B. Mason Suggs Jennings. She grew up in Hill County near Bynum and graduated from Bynum High School. Soon after high school, she married J. C. Son Taylor on June 25, 1934. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1981. The couple spent most of their married life in Bynum. She was an excellent cook and loved to prepare food for her family, making sure she had everyone's favorite pie baked. Julia was a farm wife and of the Baptist faith. She was also preceded in death by her parents and four sisters. Survivors include two children, Kenneth D. Taylor and wife, Martha, of Bynum, and Betty Rankin and husband, John, of Wylie, Texas; one brother, Gerald Jennings and wife Barbara of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren, Brenda Baranowski, Tammie Crawshaw, Kim Orr, Greg Rankin, Rodney Rankin, and Amy Ryzak; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
