June Donohue

June Donohue, 76, of Whitney, passed away on Friday October 24, 2014 at a Hillsboro hopsital. The family will host a memorial service at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, 5643 FM 933, Whitney, Texas.

June was born on June 21, 1938. She grew up in New York City with her brother, John Rapp, and her parents, Emily and John Rapp.

She was a person who celebrated life. She never met a stranger and used to say that strangers are just friends she has not yet met.

She lived her life according to God’s principles as stated in Matthew 22:37-39: “Love the Lord you God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and like this love your neighbor as yourself.” This is how June, our mother, lived her life.

June was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Donohue, Sr.

She is survived by children, Barbara Spencer and husband, Tom, Diane Dangelmaier, Maureen Faure and Richard E. Donohue, Jr. and wife, Nikki; grandchildren, Stacy and Ryan McDaniels, Trevor Spencer, R.J. Faure, Joseph Faure, James Faure and Connor Donohue; brother, John Rapp and wife, Kathy.

June was a blessing to her family, with a generous heart and a love like Jesus, and her family is a living testimony to that love.
