June Price

June Price, 85 of Whitney passed away on April 18, 2010 in Austin. June was born on June 1, 1924 in Clarendon; the daughter of the late Bert and Ruth Jane Barton Willey. After moving from the West Texas area she grew up in Glen Rose and lived there until moving to Hill County in 1957 where she lived until 15 months ago when she moved to Austin. June had worked as a LVN for 40 years before retiring. She married Ernest Price in 1986 and he preceded her in death in 2003. She was of the Baptist faith. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Frank Willey and Bert Willey, Jr. Survivors include her children, Lana Barrow and husband Don of Austin, Cathy Teague, Diane Rosemond and husband, Ronnie all of Whitney;step daughters, Teresa Price of Whitney, Tamar Trumbo of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mary Mabry and husband, Ray of Whitney, Kim Nicholls and husband, Ryan of Mansfield; step sons, James Price and wife, Connie of Mineral Wells, Jerald Price of Decatur; brother, Bob Willey of Glen Rose; sister, Pat Lesley of Hillsboro; nephew, Jim Willey of DeLeon; 5 grandchildren, Joe Don Barrow, Aubrey Barrow, Jason Teague, Tammy Burkhart and Charles C.Malone, Jr. and numeroud great grandchildren.
