Justin Rightmer

Justin Lee Rightmer 27, of Whitney passed away on December 4, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 9, 2016 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney with Brad Orban officiating.


Justin was born on June 14, 1989, in Cleburne, Texas to Justin Todd and Angelia (Burns) Rightmer. He grew up in the Whitney, Kopperl and Burleson areas. Justin married Amanda Kight on September 24, 2016.

He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting and mudding. Justin enjoyed being with his children and was a Boy Scout leader for Troop 387.

Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Benny Sanders and Fred Penny.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Rightmer of Whitney; parents, Justin Rightmer of Kopperl; Angelia Benjamin and husband, Frank of Joshua; grandparents, Linda and Kenneth Carver of Waco, Steve and Donna Burns of Ft. Worth; grandmothers, Diann Penny of Kopperl and Vicky Sanders of Godley; children, Peyton Rightmer, Riley Hamm, Kaydence Rightmer, Quinlan Olthoff-Rightmer and Brantley Rightmer; brothers Justen Benjamin, Colton Sanders, Tyler Sanders; sisters, Lauren Rightmer, Rhonda Rightmer and Brittany Sanders.
