Karl was born November 1, 1961 in Dallas to Dick and Ruth Darlene (Barnard) Butler. For 22 years, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. On June 6, 1978, he married Ruth Olive in Garland.
He loved his family, history, genealogy, and antiques. He attended Grace Methodist Church in Copperas Cove and was a member of VFW.
We know Karl is looking forward to playing dominoes and 42 with his father and other family members who have gone home before him. As he often said, “I’ve got it under control.”
