Katherine Murff

Katherine was the daughter of Edward and Susie Adams Baker. Mrs. Murff grew up in Winters, Tx. and lived there for 47 Years. She married Frank Simpson on September 21, 1934 and he preceded her in death in July of 1966. On May 12, 1969, she married Joe Murff and he preceded her in death on May 5, 2000. Her career was a LVN and she was a member of the King Memorial United Methodist Church in Whitney. Katherine was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Harvey and J.W. 'Pete" Baker; two sisters, Ruby Counts and Opal Slatton. She was survived by her daughter, Dorothy Cooper and husband, Ralph of Whitney; Step-children, Norma Bowman of Burleson, Bill Murff and wife Kay of Corral Gables, Fl., Dr. Gene Murff and wife Fredda of Waco; Grandchildren, Brenda Eubanks of Holton, Ks., Karen Munger of Edmund, Ok. and David Cooper of Overland Park, Ks.; and eight Step-grandchildren.
